A high-quality Speedometer app with the same sophisticated brain inside as our paid version. When you exceed a preset speed limit, the large digits change color from green to red and the device emits a loud sound to alert you. This feature is particularly useful for avoiding speeding tickets.

Speedometer is a universal app designed for iPhone and 3G-iPads, including Retina graphics. It supports speeds ranging from 000-999 in MPH, KMH, and knots. It provides information such as maximum speed, average speed, and distance traveled.

Note that this app is compatible with iPhone 3GS, 4, and 4S, as well as any iPad with 3G. Please be aware that iPods and Wi-Fi only iPads are not supported due to the lack of a GPS chip. (An external GPS module is needed.) It's important to remember that using GPS apps continuously in the background can significantly reduce battery life.
